Whether it’s walking, cycling, canoeing, kayaking, bird watching or relaxing that you are after, there is plenty to do and see on-site or in and around the local area.
Birds and other animal visitors.
Wildlife on-site is very plentiful, a paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers. Featured on this page are a few of the birds and other beautiful animals spotted on-site.

Birds spotted were Hoopoe, Red Kite, Buzzard, Sparrow Hawk, Kestrel, Kingfisher ,Heron, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Turtle Dove, Gold Finch, Moorhen, Swans and wild ducks.
We also had visits from a few Ragadan (Coypu), Foxes, Red squirrels, Bats, Badgers, Hedgehogs and Moles.
Plants and Trees.
The campsite is also full of mature trees and bushes, including Oak, Hazel and African Bean as well as various fruiting species such as blackberry bushes, plum, fig, apple, cherry and walnut trees.
Enjoy a peaceful stroll around the 10 acre lake with its beautiful views and surrounding nature.
The campsite sits in a protected area of 'Nature 2000' to specifically protect the many rare species of birds, animals, insects and plants that exist in this area of the Charente.
