The Estate
The Charente is one of the original 83 departments created during the French Revolution on March 4, 1790.
Camping Marco de Bignac is situated in the region of Poitou-Charentes, surrounded by the departments of Vienne, Haute-Vienne, Dordogne, Charente-Maritime, and Deux-Sèvres.
There are numerous places to visit and things to see in and around the region. |

The grounds of Camping Marco de Bignac extend to 8.25 hectares (over 20 acres) embracing a spectacular lake of nearly 4 hectares (10 acres); the perimeter measuring almost 1 kilometre is securely fenced. Mature trees fringe the lake, home to some impressive fish, including carp. In the camping area the trees are arranged formally to delineate the 84 pitches that Camping Marco has to offer. Our three-star rated camp-site, which includes a popular bar and restaurant, attracts a cross-section of nationalities. |
